Il corpo non mente. Riscoprire se stessi attraverso il movimento nella danzaterapia e nello sport
Abstract
The aim of this work is to demonstrate how psychiatric rehabilitation through body movement can lead to improvements and a greater level of well-being to those suffering from psychiatric disorders. In particular, the therapeutic potential of movement is investigated in two body mediation techniques, taking as a sample the volleyball group and the dance therapy group. The research was conducted through the administration of a semi-structured interview to 13 patients to understand their point of view about performed activity, and through the LOFOPT evaluation grid which allowed to consider 9 relevant elements in the two sample groups. The 9 elements refer to the skills and abilities of movement both on physical and expressive level, and to the ability to relate to other members of a group or of the team.
